Ivana Thompson
I have had the privilege of witnessing the remarkable development of this young woman from infancy to her current stage. Her inspiring testimony is featured in the February 2022 edition of my magazine, "Hope for Today." Throughout her life, she has consistently impressed me with her achievements. When she expressed her intention to portray "Harriet Tubman" during her middle school years and requested to borrow my outfit, it was a moment that truly touched my heart. It has been a blessing to observe her growth. The following are just a few notable milestones in her journey, which I hope will serve as motivation for other young individuals to pursue their aspirations with determination.

YOUTH IN ACTION
***Ivana graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), in May 2024, from Virginia Commonwealth University.
***Ivana's first professional job was in Quintessence Theater's production "Father Comes Home From the Wars" in June 2024.
***She was Chairman, Cleopatra's best friend, in the local Philly Fringe Festival production of "Anthony and Cleopatra" in September 2024.
***Currently she has a background role in a local TV series titled, "A Song for Nia."
***Ivana will be a panelist in the upcoming "She Shines Conference" in Philadelphia, PA on November 9, 2024
